Hummus is one of the simple, satisfying and delicious appetizers. Dry chickpeas are kept in water beforehand to soften. Soft chickpeas are placed in a pot after the water is drained. Add enough fresh water to cover them and boil until the shells separate. Crushed garlic, tahini, lemon juice are added to this puree and the spice and salt are adjusted. Adding cumin, mint, dill is optional.
